New Boss Denies Pursuing Cecilia Cheung

Since filing for divorce, Cecilia Cheung has been embroiled in numerous gossips. Recently, Cecilia was rumored to be romantically pursued by her management company, AEG Group’s boss, Yu Yuxing (余毓興). Yesterday, Yu Yuxing clarified, “The rumors are entirely false and absurd! I am simply friends with Cecilia Cheung!” Mr. Yu hoped that the rumors did not affect their family and their own reputations. Mr. Yu’s lawyer has already issued letters on libel grounds in order to clarify the matter.

As for Cecilia Cheung taking vacation for no apparent reason, Mr. Yu supported her, “You can ask the production crew. Everyone is very satisfied with her. We do not know what led to the circulation of the rumors!” Mr. Yu lashed out that the rumors were fabricated from nothing.

After her divorce Cecilia Cheung Pak Chi not only took care of her sons but also remembered to develop her own career. Recently she and her manager invested in the New Asia Entertainment + Cecilia Cheung Workshop, which already opened in a low key manner. Becoming a boss, Pak Chi even spent six figures for an employee lucky drawing to improve relationships with them.

Pak Chi posted three photos yesterday online and wrote "Cecilia Cheung Workshop Opens With Low Profile, Boss Cheung Blatantly Benefits Employees". Actually Pak Chi and her manager's New Asia Entertainment + Cecilia Cheung Workshop earlier opened in Hong Kong. That day she led ten employees in the opening ceremony. In order to increase employee morale and improve their relationships, she threw in six figures for the employees to play a lucky drawing for cash prize. Pak Chi's workshop design was simple and even faced the race track.

In addition, Pak Chi also posted two photos from the set of LEGENDARY AMAZONS (YEUNG MOON NUI YEUNG). She was practicing with a long spear with a stunt coordinator. She wrote, "As long as it is within my ability I would finish all of my scenes. I hope to not only fight exciting but also fight pretty." In the past, Cecilia Cheung Pak Chi once remarked, “I always liked to drive fast!” However, since Hong Kong was heavily populated and the streets were narrow, driving fast could easily lead to automobile accidents. On March 30th, Cecilia was driving on South Bay Road and hit a 66-year-old man. Once the Hong Kong media learned of the incident, reporters rushed to Queen Mary Hospital to take photos of the 66-year-old man who was hit by Cecilia’s car. The victim sustained fractures of his left foot and was in stable condition.

After the automobile accident, Cecilia was taken to the police station for a breathalyzer tests to prove that she did not drive under the influence of alcohol.Cecilia was not detained by the police, but must be readily available for investigation. Cecilia’s assistant confirmed that Cecilia was not injured and described the automobile accident as a ”minor” incident.

Cecilia Cheung makes comeback in CJ7 animated movie

The animated movie spin-off of Stephen Chow's 2008 sci-fi comedy blockbuster CJ7 is opening July 6 in theaters in Mainland China, and the press conference for the movie was held on June 13 during the Shanghai International Film Festival. Besides Chow and child star Xu Jiao, the event saw the surprise attendance of long-dormant Hong Kong actress Cecilia Cheung and her two-year-old son, Lucas, who effortlessly captured attention with his innocent toddler manners. The mother-son duo is set to record a Mandarin duet as the movie's theme song. Cheung famously rose to movie stardom with her debut film, Chow's King of Comedy in 1999. She has been absent on the silver screen since Wai Ka Fai's The Shopaholics and Wong Jing's My Kung Fu Sweetheart in early 2006, opting to stay away from the spotlight to mother two sons for husband Nicholas Tse. Directed by Toe Yuen (My Life as McDull), the animated CJ7 movie is not only the first film released under Chow's new production banner, but also marks the cinematic return of an acclaimed actress - and potentially the debut for a new-generation star in the Tse family.
